How to change forgot password of your computer using bootable pendrive
If you have forgot your password and you are unable to logon to your computer then follow the instruction to change your password .
what you need
A bootable pendrive and your computer of which you want to change password.
Step 1: Connect your bootable pendrive to your computer and restart your computer.
Step 2: Take your computer to booting by pressing Esc button or f2 or what key is used for booting your computer then select your pendrive to boot your computer. Then press Enter.
Here it will show starting windows
Step 3: Click Next.
Step 4: Click Repair your computer
then click on troubleshot.
then click Advanced option
click on command prompt
then click Advanced option
click on command prompt
Step 5: In the command prompt insert following commands carefully
c:
then press Enter
c: windows
then press Enter
c: windows cd system 32
then press Enter
c: windows cd system 32
c: windows cd system 32
then press Enter
Now here type copy utilman.exe utilman1.exe then press Enter. And it will display 1 files copied
Then type copy cmd.exe cmd1.exe then press Enter.
Then type del utilman.exe and press Enter.
Then type rename cmd.exe utilman.exe press Enter.
Finally type exit
Step 6: Now click Turn off your Pc and Restart your computer, and click ease of access button located in the one of the corners of your screen
Step 7: command prompt will open Then in the cmd type the following control userpasswords2 and press Enter.
Step 8: After this user account window will open. In this window you can remove your password or you can change it.
Now click on your user name. Then click on Reset password button
Step 9: Then type a new password and then retype the same password and click ok button
Then close all the open windows and type the new password to login to your computer.
